What irons are those that Camilo has in the black bag?

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-06 16:49:50

Those are the King Cobra Pro CB irons that Camilo is testing.

Will Cobra be coming out with any new irons in 2008 for a low-mid handicapper?

When will the new Cobra forged Pro irons be available for the public to buy, also, is Camilo going to switch to the new Corba L4V driver?

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-07 09:00:46

Camilo has yet to test the L4V driver. We are waiting on some lower lofted X models. As soon as these arrive, we will have him test them.

He is very happy with the performance of his Cobra Speed Pro S. It’s a perfect set up with ideal launch conditions. And he’s bombing it.

We will wait and see. Keep logging on to cobratourblog.com for all the new offseason equipment changes. It’s where you will see all the new Cobra product and let you know about what Cobra staffers will play in 2008.

The Cobra Pro CB’s and MB’s will be available in March.

Please tell me you are going to make the Pro CB’s in left hand!!!! Do these have a bit more offset
in the mid and long irons?
Thanks Gary

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-07 09:06:17

Yes, the King Cobra Pro CB’s will come in left handed.

Kel Washington wrote on 2007-12-07 06:23:21

The new Pro CB irons look nice! Is the size about the same as the Carbon CBs? I also see forged on the hosel. Availalbility for left handers? Thanks.

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-07 09:07:52

Yes, the King Cobra Pro CB’s will come in left handed. The Pro CB’s are smaller then the Carbon CB’s.

Are the Pro CB’s the same as the Pro MB’s, I’ve had the Carbon CB’s for a year and love them, but would love the Pro MB satin finish to be available?

Matt wrote on 2007-12-07 19:52:51

Is the hat Camilo is wearing going to be released to the public?…What about his other fitted Cobra hat?

Gary Barber wrote on 2007-12-08 16:22:08

Can you share the specs for these irons yet ? Loft ? offset ? will there be a gap wedge
available ? Thanks Gary

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-12 14:20:25

There will be GW’s available in both models. More information will be available on www.cobragolf.com soon.

First of all, Great looking clubs. I was about to pull the trigger on the Cobra CB but these deterred me from doing so. I love the way it looks. Is the CBs going to be forged? Any word on the MB in left handed? Thanks

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-12 14:04:18

Both the Pro CB’s and MB’s are forged. The Pro MB’s will not be offered in Left handed.

Tim Black wrote on 2007-12-11 08:15:45

What will the stock shaft be in these, DGS300, PX, or something else?

Also, will the Pro MB be coming this spring as well and will combo sets be available?

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-12 14:29:22

The stock shaft for the Pro CB’s is Royal Precision Rifle Project X 5.5 Steel and for the Pro MB’s is True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 Steel. The Pro MB’s will be available at the same time as the Pro CB’s, which will be in March.

I just recently signed a Cobra Staff agreement for 2008, and I am very excited about the future of Cobra, can you tell me if the lofts will be the same between the cb’s and mb’s so that I will be able to play a mixed set of Cobra irons?

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-12 14:22:27

The lofts will be the same between the Pro CB’s and MB’s.

Scott Mayers wrote on 2007-12-12 12:39:26

THE NEW IRONS LOOK SIC!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to play them. (Sic as in very nice, for all the older folks out there.)

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-12 14:24:32

I do have to say that both the Pro CB’s and MB’s are very nice looking irons!

Viking wrote on 2007-12-15 11:56:39

Will the offset be the same on the Pro CB and MP…very little offset hopefully…

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-18 09:51:43

The offset on the Pro MB’s and Pro CB’s are the same.

Kdbama7 wrote on 2007-12-19 10:19:36

Will the Pro CB’s have the same lofts and offset as the Carbon CB’s?

Cobra Golf wrote on 2007-12-19 13:33:22

The Pro CB’s have the same loft and offset as the Carbon CB’s.

Eric wrote on 2007-12-31 00:32:17

Do any of the cobra staffers bend the lofts weak on the short irons or do they tend to prefer to put in another wedge into the bag?

Will the mb and cb’s flow together so a possible combo set could be put together?

Mike wrote on 2008-01-20 18:26:35

What price point will the MB’s CB’s be sold at? Do they have a square-ish or rounder toe at address?
