Train with Camilo Villegas
On a brand new episode of Golf Fitness Academy, co-hosts Dr. Greg Rose and Dave Phillips are joined by PGA Tour star Camilo Villegas who explains the importance of strengthening and lengthening muscles while demonstrating a total body workout routine.
Villegas, considered one of the “young guns” on Tour, discusses the importance of stretching in every fitness routine and, when combined with a comprehensive strength and conditioning program, helps add speed, power and flexibility to his golf swing. Villegas works with Rose and Phillips to demonstrate a series of exercises targeting the Upper Body, Lower Body and Total Body. The episode also features several quick performance tips to help build strength, length and flexibility in the golf swing.
Episode 2: Camilo Villegas, airs Wednesday, April 18, at 10:30 p.m. EDT on The Golf Channel. It will re-air April 19 at 2 a.m., April 22 at 4 p.m., April 23 at 6 p.m., and April 24 at 5:30 a.m.
