Kevin Na at the Honda Classic
March 1st, 2007
We caught up with Kevin Na at the Honda Classics. Kevin has a full set of Cobra products starting with his new Speed Pro D driver. His bag also includes his X Speed fairway woods and Forged CB irons. He also carries a Baffler Pro 4R.

I think Kevin likes his new Speed Pro D driver. What do you think?

Kevin’s perfect position at the top.

He has great extention through the ball.

Kevin and his brother Austin share a laugh on the range Thursday.

I love Cobra and I love cobra products. I really love this part of the website, I have always wanted to know what the pros play and what there set make up looks like. I play a very close set make to Kevin. What shaft is in the speed pro?

The shaft that Kevin plays in his driver and fairway is the Matrix MFS.

Any reason Kevin does not play the very popular higher end offerings from Matrix? Such as the Ozik line….

Kevin plays with the Matrix MFS shaft because it performs for him better than the other Matrix shafts. He has played that version for some time now and I’ve never seen him hit his driver as solid as I have seen him hit it lately.

Has Cobra done any testing with High end shafts in their Speed Pro Drivers? (Ozik Altus, X-Con, Diamana (specifically whiteboard)) I am a Golf Pro who just signed up for a full staff deal with Cobra (I absolutely love the new products) and I am interested in what testing Cobra has done and if any shafts perform exceptionally well with the Speed Pro S. Cobra is our top selling product and I would like to have as much knowledge on the new product as possible.

Cobra has performed multiple tests with many of the high end shafts. Cobra feels that the Fujikura Speeder Pro, 65g is a great fit for the Speed Pro S driver. With that said there are plenty of good shafts that will perform well in the Pro S. If you have a favorite shaft that you like to play then I would try it.
